License Agreement

"Licensor" — the developer and owner of AI Search module.

"Licensee" — the person or organization that purchased a license to use the module.

"Software" — AI Search module for OpenCart, including all source code, libraries, documentation and related files.

"Domain" — unique domain name of the online store.

"SaaS" — cloud version of the module with API on our servers and monthly subscription.

"Self-hosted" — module version for deployment on client's server with one-time payment.

2.1. The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software according to the selected pricing plan.

2.2. One license is valid for one domain. A separate license is required for each additional domain.

2.3. SaaS license: valid for the paid period (month/year). Upon cessation of payment, the module automatically switches to fallback mode (standard OpenCart search).

2.4. Self-hosted license: granted permanently for one domain. Updates included for 1 year from purchase date. After one year, updates are optional ($49/year).

2.5. Domain change is possible no more than once every 30 days. Contact support to change the domain.

The Licensee is PROHIBITED from:

• Copying, distributing or reselling the Software to third parties
• Modifying, decompiling, disassembling or reverse engineering the source code
• Removing or changing copyright notices, watermarks or other ownership marks
• Using the Software to create competing products
• Providing access to the license key to third parties
• Using one license on multiple domains

What we do NOT collect: customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, phones), order history, payment information, IP addresses of store visitors, cookies.

What we collect (SaaS): public product information (names, descriptions, categories), anonymous search queries for statistics, request metadata, license information.

Self-hosted: all data remains on your server. Only a daily ping is sent for license validation (domain, module version).

Data is stored on servers in the EU (Hetzner, Germany) and complies with GDPR requirements.

The Licensor IS NOT LIABLE for: data loss or database damage, store failures due to incompatibility with other modules, loss of profit or customers, unavailability of AI services due to force majeure, improper configuration or use of the module.

Maximum Licensor liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the Software does not work on your hosting for technical reasons, does not match stated functionality, or you are unsatisfied with search quality.

Refunds are NOT available if more than 14 days have passed, if you violated license terms, if issues arose due to modified OpenCart core, or if you downloaded and used the license key (Self-hosted).

SaaS: server updates automatically. PHP module updates by downloading new ZIP from your account.

Self-hosted: updates included for 1 year from purchase. After one year — $49/year for update renewal (optional).

The Licensor reserves the right to terminate the license if the Licensee violates the terms of this agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must stop using the Software and delete all copies.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved through negotiation or, if not possible, in the courts of Ukraine.
